Honey

Performance

Phot. Pawel Maciak

The meaning of honey opens a wide field of associations. Sensual, syrupy, liquid - it relates to physical pleasure as well as sweetness close to pain.

Honey can be sweet, tart, bitter or even poisonous and causing madness.

Honey put together with body surface, covering body or the inside - changes the body's meaning and form.

Honey licked, smeared, flowed.

Lips, tongue, hand, hip.

The relationship with body is endless. It is more than the food bond.

Regardless of the wide ringe of symbols which carries the meaning of honey, the first and only thought and inspiration for the performance was a sad phenomenon of bee's colony collapse disorder.
